Plot

The plot revolves around the story of a lost girl 'Dhee' who has bring light back to her asteroid and save it from the evil dark forces. In the journey she discovers her true identity. 

Director's Vision

Ravishankar has dedicated his life to reviving Sanskrit through Cinema. Ravishankar believes that Cinema through sound, visual and emotional storytelling leaves a lasting impact on the minds of the viewer. It is a powerful medium for presenting new ideas. The director, Ravishankar, whose earlier Sanskrit movie, Punyakoti, got global acclaim, says that he has been inspired the story of Dhee. The psychological transformation of Dhee from a lost, diffident girl to a leader who will lead her tribe requires her to overcome her own limitations. To him, the journey of Dhee is a reflection of our own Bharat, which has forgotten its true identity for centuries. The opportunity to tell stories in new settings excites him.

Why Sanskrit?

Sanskrit is the mother of all Indo-Germanic languages. A unique language made with sounds instead of words. The sounds are then connected through an algorithm to make meaning. It is one of the most scientifically organized language. Its learning and practice can give immense mental and physical benefits. Sanskrit has some of the best literature in the world. And is the language in which the first coded knowledge is found. It is a matter of pride that Sanskrit originated in Bharat. The director of the movie has imagined that the story happens in an Android where people speak only Sanskrit.

• The primary production will be in Sanskrit with subtitle in other languages.

• The plan is to dub the movie in multiple languages for a wider reach in parallel.

Audience

Children and Families :  Many sci-fi animated films are made for a younger audience, using futuristic themes to inspire curiosity and wonder. These movies often feature a strong moral compass, friendly aliens, and high-stakes adventures.

The production team anticipates that the movie will take around 24-36 months to execute. And is likely to be released in 2027.

Status

The initial funding has been procured and the pre-production of the movie is in progress.

The crew boasts some of the best talents in India. The movie will use state of the art technology for its execution. And will be executed from units around the world. Dhee is conceived as a global movie.

In its current canvas, the movie is likely to cost  INR 12-15 Crores.
